Writing Prompt for the Week (Halloween Themes Reminder)

Hey guys, it’s Day 1, so you know what that means. Writing Prompt for the Week! Since it’s the month of October, I thought it would be fun to do a Halloween themed prompt last week. I can’t wait to see what you come up with.

Remember, this is just for fun until I see more interest in it. So the more you participate and spread the word, the more likely I will be inclined to think of prizes for what I deem as the best entry. We’ll start a new writing prompt next week!

Here’s The prompt again, in case you missed it:

Write a short story or poem about Halloween.

RULES: You may write about anything so long as the theme is Halloween-based (ghosts, witches, monsters, serial killers, etc), but your prompt must include the following words: pumpkins, Fall (as in the season), a description including the crackling of leaves (word it as you’d like), ghosts, your favorite candy, Jack-o-lantern.

Writing Prompts are due on October 31, 2012 (Yep, Halloween!) I plan to post mine, as well as my favorites, in a separate post once they are complete and sent in.

When you are finished, please post a link to your entry below (or if you do not have a blog/website you can post to, you may post it as a comment). I’m looking forward to seeing your entry!
