Books in June

Right away I decided that my theme for June would be at the pool, since most of my reads were summery. This was probably my most challenging photography project yet. It seemed every time I planned to do the pictures that the weather wouldn’t corporate, plans would suddenly come up, or the pool was too crowded to even dare take my camera to. But I finally found the perfect day!

I almost gave up because after I came to a nearly deserted pool, there was a guy there who wouldn’t stop staring at me. This is me being frustrated at his presence. Being the self-conscious creature I am, I retreated but returned later on to find I was finally alone. In a way it was a blessing because it was cooler when I came back anyway.

My reading goal for 2015 is to read 115 books. In June, I read eight books. I’m falling behind on my goal, but I’m going to try to catch up if I can. Here’s what I read last month.

Favorites: The Corner of Bitter and Sweet by Robin Palmer & Getting Over Garrett Delaney by Abby McDonald.

Least Liked: I’d Tell You I Love You But Then I’d Have to Kill You by Ally Carter.

Did you read any great books this summer? If so, what were they?
