RIP it or SHIP it Book Tag

I saw aclockworkreader do this tag, but I believe it was created by emmmabooks. I don’t get nominated for a lot of tags but this seemed fun so I’m going to do it!
The rules:
1. Write down the names of characters from different books on scraps of paper. You can do as many as you like.
2. Put them in a container of your choosing.
3. Pull out two names at the time and show them to your audience however you want.
4. Do you ship them or do you want their relationship to die a peaceful/painful death?

Here’s my list and what series/books they are from:

1. Cathy Dollanganger (Dollanganger)
2. Chris Dollanganger (Dollanganger)
3. Heaven Casteel (Casteel)
4. Troy Tatteron (Casteel)
5. Logan Stonewall (Casteel)
6. Audrina Adare (My Sweet Audrina)
7. Arden Lowe (My Sweet Audrina)
8. Harry Potter (Harry Potter)
9. Ron Weasley (Harry Potter)
10. Hermione Granger (Harry Potter)
11. Luna Lovegood (Harry Potter)
12. Draco Malfoy (Harry Potter)
13. Spencer Hastings (Pretty Little Liars)
14. Aria Montgomery (Pretty Little Liars)
15. Emily Fields (Pretty Little Liars)
16. Hanna Marin (Pretty Little Liars)
17. Katniss Everdeen (The Hunger Games)
18. Peeta Mellark (The Hunger Games)
19. Lena Haloway (Delrium)
20. Alex Sheathes (Delrium)
21. Julian Fineman (Delrium)
22. Jonas (The Giver)
23. Astrid Magnussen (White Oleander)
24. Evie (Paranormalcy)
25. Rose Hathaway (Vampire Academy)
26. Adrian Ivanshkov (Vampire Academy)
27. Christian Ozera (Vampire Academy)
28. Lissa Dragomir (Vampire Academy)
29. Charlie Kelmeckis (Perks of Being a Wallflower)
30. Turtle Wexler (The Westing Game)
31. Peter Sauber (Finders Keepers)
32. Holly Gibney (Finders Keepers)
33. Jane Eyre (Jane Eyre)
34. Mr. Edward Rochester (Jane Eyre)
35. Jacob Black (Twilight series)
36. Neville Longbottom (Harry Potter)

I will be putting the names in a jar and choosing blindly. I’ll take a picture of each pairing and make my decision as I go. I think these could be really interesting! There will be 18 couples in all. I’m just going to use one container for this one because love is love. Plus, it’s more fun that way! 😉

Okay, here we go.

1. Ron Weasley and Heaven Casteel

While they are both noble characters, I just can’t picture them in a romantic relationship. I do think they would make good friends. But as for shipping, I’ve got to RIP it!

2. Jacob Black and Mr. Edward Rochester

Oh, that’s just wrong. Aside from the huge age difference, I can’t see this happening at all. RIP!

3. Spencer Hastings and Hermione Granger

I can’t see this working out at all. They are both so competitive that I’m not even sure they could be friends. RIP!

4. Peter Sauber and Jonas.

While I think they’d make good friends, as far as romance goes, I’m saying RIP!

5. Arden Lowe and Christian Ozera

Definitely not. Christian deserves better than that. RIP!

6. Alex Sheathes and Evie.

You know, I think that might actually be a fun pairing so I’m going to SHIP it!

7. Troy Tatterton and Emily Fields

Aside from their slight age difference, I’m not sure about this one. They’re both on the meek side so I’m thinking they’d be better friends (like Em and Toby). RIP!

8. Cathy Dollanganger and Julian Fineman

If you know anything about Cathy’s relationships, you know they are extremely toxic. I actually think these two might be interesting. I’m going to SHIP it.

9. Hanna Marin and Lissa Dragomir

I can’t see this relationship having much chemistry so I’m going to RIP it.

10. Charlie Kelmeckis and Rose Hathaway

While someone outgoing might be good for Charlie, I think Rose might be a little too extreme for someone who’s been through a really traumatic time. RIP!

11. Logan Stonewall and Holly Gibney

I could see it working out in the beginning, but I don’t think it would last because Logan is such a hard-head. RIP!

12. Chris Dollanganger and Katniss Everdeen

Are you kidding? Chris is way too clingy. Katniss wouldn’t be having any of that. RIP!

12743824_10156653802020195_3454843510921054434_n

13. Lena Haloway and Aria Montgomery

Can’t see it. Lena is a little too meek for me to see this working. RIP!

12743834_10156653812720195_450892409806872964_n

14. Astrid Magnussen and Jane Eyre

Seeing how they have similar back stories, I think they’d make pretty good friends. A relationship, not so much. RIP!

12744271_10156653808540195_3103038779185148749_n

15. Harry Potter and Adrian Ivanshkov

Yeah…don’t see that happening. RIP it!

16. Neville Longbottom and Luna Lovegood

I could see this working out. They are both kind and Luna is just unique enough for it to be interesting. I think she’d be good at comforting him when he’s feeling down about his parents as well. I’m going to SHIP it!

12745892_10156653800775195_5234527859933973803_n

17. Turtle Wexler and Draco Malfoy

I think that might be interesting because while both are mischievous, deep down they aren’t that bad. I’m going to SHIP it!

12744268_10156653945740195_8725416512077319812_n

18. Peeta Mellark and Audrina Adare

I actually really like this one. I feel Peeta would be good for Audrina, who has been through so much. I’m going to SHIP it!

Agree or disagree with my decisions on the random shippings? If you decide to do this, please link back because I’d love to see your results. This was actually kind of fun.
